This is a free mapping service to obtain coordinates (longitude, latitude and altitude) for any given location on Earth. It can be used for geotagging or other navigational purposes (GPS data). The data is retrieved from Google Maps and Geonames.org, so the accuracy is as good as these services supply it. Please be aware that this is not nautically accurate! Please refer to professional services if you need it for nautical or rescue or other risk-involving purposes. I will not take responsibility for any action taken based on data from this page.
As with Google Maps, you may choose between map view, satellite view, hybrid or terrain view. Click into the map to set your marker - it will show longitude and latitude on the spot. The altitude will be shown in the top section of the page.
